The Ankh has been a Sacred Symbol from the earliest Antiquity. It is found upon all the enduring monuments of the World, in Kemet, in Sumeria, in India, in Persia, among the Mayans and Aztecs, and on the Buddhist towers of Ireland. Pointing to the 4 Quarters of the World, it was the Symbol of Universal Nature. In Ancient Egypt, Ptah, Heru, Tehuti, and a myriad of other Deities are shown carrying the Crux Ansata, or Ankh. It is the Hieroglyphic for Life, and with a Triangle Prefixed, or superimposed, means Life-Giving. It is the symbol of that Life that emanates from God, and of that Eternal Life for which we all Hope; thorough our Faith in God’s Infinite Goodness.
