Any meaningful growth we want to encourage in our life must be nurtured with conscious rest and periods of recovery. We must be aware of our spiritual, mental and physical states, to improve both further and to ensure we are in the right mindset to take on the challenges and opportunities which come our way.
Rest allows us to conserve energy, repair what may have been damaged, and replenish resources essential for productive effort. It is an essential component for the maintenance of our overall health and wellbeing and for enabling us to reach the heights of our potential.
When we take the time to rest and recover, we open our awareness to the new levels of creativity and resilience we may not have otherwise been capable of achieving. Over time, with practice, we can gain mastery of our own well-being and take on what the future may bring.
