We are in control of our actions and reactions. Whenever our life feels out of control, try to focus on your present actions and reactions to stay grounded. we must look inward instead of outward to find the things we have control over.

We cannot control people. We cannot control their actions, reactions, thoughts, feelings, beliefs, etc. We are also not RESPONSIBLE for other people’s actions, reactions, thoughts, feelings, beliefs, etc (excluding your non-adult children). We don’t usually try to control people on purpose. But if we feel responsible for them, that responsibility can manifest in unhealthy ways.
