Sometimes we get so tangled up
In our day to day lives,
Forgetting and then
Giving up hope,
Due to opinions
And not facts,
Thinking we tried,
Or did we,
Or did you,
Or did I,
Find my way back you,
Like you found your way back to me,
That’s the red thread,
Where’d it go all this time,
I thought we were connected,
At least one of us
Thought so,
So how much is really given,
How much do we really take,
Before we stretch out,
Only one or does both know
It’ll never break.
